Gita is an experienced teacher with many years of practice. She teaches flute and piccolo at Muziekschool Ouder-Amstel. 

Gita is a regular substitute teacher in music schools such as Muziekschool Amsterdam Noord, Muziekschool Diemen, DE KOM and Wijktalentorkest Indische Buurt.

As a pedagogue, Gita brings enthusiasm and energy to her classes. Her teaching style is tailored to the individual, with lessons adapted to each student’s goals, personality, and learning pace. She places an emphasis on building a solid technical foundation, giving students the tools to grow with confidence and consistency.

Playfulness and creativity are key in her lessons, as she finds it primordial that students enjoy themselves and learn while having fun!

Drawing from her formal training, she incorporates complementary methods and tools in her teaching, including The Inner Game of Music, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind.

Students of all ages and levels are welcome!
